India has got top billing in a Forbes assessment on prime destinations for business process outsourcing (BPO). The country�s turnover of 75,000 IT graduates and two million English-speaking graduates a year, and its low wage structure, together make it an attractive labour pool for US companies to tap. The study profiling seven key nations that provide the best alternatives for American companies has not come out with a formal ranking as such. But the affirmatives it lists for India surpass those of the other six: China, Russia, the Philippines, Canada, Mexico and Ireland. China�s technical schools also turn out 50,000 graduates annually, but many of them migrate west. And the rest who stay on �generally don�t speak English,� the study says, stressing the language barrier that China will have to surmount for a thrust on outsourcing....
